After finishing my formal education, I engrossed myself in family life and worked my way up the ladder in my retail finance job. As time went by I realised that my work wasn’t satisfying me in that I wanted to do something to help people and make a positive difference in their lives. I was always interested in health and the holistic ideal of living, having practised Yoga since the age of 16 and studied for a diploma in Holistic Nutritional Therapy after the birth of my daughter. So I decided to further my education and undergo a diploma in Complementary Therapy from which I qualified in June 2015. My encounters with my colleagues and clients during the course only further convinced me of the profound effect holistic therapies can have on our body, mind and spirit. Since qualifying I have gained further qualifications in 1st and 2nd degree Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Reflexology for Conception and Pregnancy. I began practising at Origin Osteo during my training with the hopes of being part of a team that has the variety of knowledge and skills to offer tailor-made care to each unique individual. I intend to continue studying to expand my knowledge and skills while practising the techniques I’ve learned so far. I am currently undertaking further studies in Pregnancy, Labour and Postpartum Support and Childbirth Education with the aim to specialise in supporting clients on their journey into parenthood. I’m currently living in the beautiful Welsh countryside with my two children, enjoying the ever changeable seasons of this magical Celtic island!
